Certificates: when they unlock, and how employers verify them
Certificates are issued for completed organization assignments: what unlocks them, what's printed on them, and how anyone can check one at /verify.
Who gets a certificate
Certificates are part of the organization experience: they're issued for assigned work. When a teacher or manager assigns you a lesson, category, quiz, or track and you complete it, a printable certificate of completion becomes available. Your Assignments tab lists everything required of you and the certificates for what you've finished.
When one unlocks
A regular assignment's certificate unlocks when the assignment is genuinely 100% complete. It's verified against your synced progress, the same data the org dashboard reports, and it will not render before then.
Quiz certificates unlock at the best-score threshold the teacher set (75% by default), and your best attempt is what counts. If a teacher is holding quiz results for later release, the certificate waits until your score is released.
What's on the certificate
The certificate is a printable page showing your name, what you completed, the organization that assigned it, and the date. At the bottom is a unique certificate ID in the format CRLV-XXXX-XXXX, along with the verification address. That ID is what makes the certificate checkable by anyone.
How employers verify at /verify
The verification page is public: no account, free, instant. Paste the certificate ID and a valid certificate shows exactly what was earned: who it was issued to, what they completed, the score if it was under 100%, which organization assigned the work, the issue date, and the ID itself. Completion was verified by Corlova's servers at issue time: quiz certificates against recorded scores, lesson certificates against tracked chapter progress.
The page also accepts the ID in the address itself, so a certificate can carry a QR code or link that opens straight to its result. If the page says "Not found," check the ID for typos. If it still doesn't verify, the certificate was not issued by Corlova.
