Teachers and admins: where to start, and how assigning works

The three places that teach you the dashboard (starter guides, video guides, and the feature reference), plus the short version of assigning lessons, quizzes, and simulators.

Three doors, in order

New to running an organization on Corlova? Start with the step-by-step starter guide. It is the "do this first" journey. When you want to know what everything does, the organization features reference is the encyclopedia: every feature explained, organized by role (administrator, teacher, student).

Staff also get video guides: three full tutorials and eight short guides covering the dashboard, assigning, quizzes, grading, permissions, and what your students see.

The dashboard in one paragraph

The organization dashboard holds everything: an overview (seats, who is active, who needs a nudge), People with bulk onboarding, Groups for classes and teams, the Library (what your people can browse on their own time), and Assignments (the required work). Teachers see the same dashboard scoped to their own groups, with exactly the permissions their admin granted.

Assigning work

You can assign a lesson (choose chapters), a category, a track, a path, or a custom bundle that mixes lessons with timed case studies and research reports, optionally in a required order. Target everyone, any set of groups, or specific people. An optional due date can go down to an exact time, and reminders go out automatically 24 hours before.

Graded quizzes are built from real lesson questions: preview and curate the exact question pool, set pass marks and attempt limits, and results land in a per-quiz gradebook with CSV export. Best score counts.

Assigning simulators: Assisted vs. Challenge

An assignment can include a business simulator, and the item completes when the student finishes a full run. Any ending counts, so a bankruptcy is still a finished result. For each assigned simulator you pick the mode. Assisted (the default, and recommended) keeps the guided choices, hint lines, and coaching. Challenge removes the training wheels: decisions that hinge on a number or price become a typed commit, hint lines disappear, options shuffle, and the coaching stays quiet.

Your chosen mode locks the picker on the student's intro screen. Every run records which mode was played, and you can open the full month-by-month decision log for any student. Replays overwrite with the latest run, so you always see their most recent year.
