What syncs, what your organization sees, and the one optional cookie

Where your data goes in everyday words: what follows your account across devices, exactly what org staff can and cannot see, and the single cookie you can turn off.

What your account syncs

Progress, notes, saves, and preferences are tied to your account: they save on your device right away and sync in the background, so signing in on any device brings your library with you. You can download everything Corlova holds about you as a file, any time, from the privacy choices page.

What organization staff can see

If your account is managed by a school or company, its staff can see your learning activity inside Corlova: lesson-by-lesson progress, quiz scores, how long you actually spent reading each lesson, and how long the tab sat hidden while a lesson was open. That time tracking happens inside Corlova only, and it is honest by design.

What they cannot see

Your organization's staff can never see your password (nobody can, because passwords are salted and hashed), your personal notes, or anything you do outside Corlova. Notes sync to your account so they follow you between devices, but they stay yours: there is no staff view of them.

Cookies: one toggle

Essential storage, meaning your sign-in session and your settings, is required for the site to work. The only optional cookie is a Google tag that tells Corlova when a Google ad led to a signup or purchase. It does not run inside lessons, and turning it off disables it fully. The toggle lives on the privacy choices page; it applies immediately and is stored per browser.

Corlova does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so beyond that one toggle, there is nothing to opt out of.

Your data, your account

From the privacy choices page you can download your data as a file or head to your profile to delete your account (org-managed accounts route deletion through your admin). Privacy requests are answered by a person.
