RaaS sells the use of expensive robots on a subscription instead of a big upfront purchase. The customer (a warehouse, farm, or hospital) gets automation without the capital risk or the maintenance headache, and the provider earns a recurring, high-margin revenue stream. Lowering the adoption barrier to a monthly fee is exactly why the model is growing fast: an operator can try robots without betting the company.
